Looking for old friends. When kids graduated from Merced Elem, they split and went to different Junior Highs and then merged again at WCHS. My family moved and I lost touch with close friends and I would have graduated at WCHS in 1977. Would like to know what happened to Shauna Dumka, Walter Ingalls, Kenny Kennedy, Paul Valentine, Snodgrass's, and sorry to hear about Barry O'Cain. I lived and play with Barry and lived on same street as Barry, Scott Snodgrass. Hope to hear from someone!

Hello Class of 1977. I was browsing the roster and saw a few familiar names from the old San Jose Elementery School. Although the pictures are great, thirty years have passed and I wouldn't recognize a one of you, likewise I'm sure. Just seeing your names brought back great memories of growing up in West Covina/Valinda and San Jose. The years have been good to me, As I hope they have been to you. I am currently a Firefighter for San Bernardino County in the city of Fontana and live with my wife, oldest daughter, her son (my "WeePee") and our youngest son in the beautiful resort town of Silver Lakes, CA. Hello everyone. I just got home from Jill Johannsen's services today. It was lovely, yet simple in a perfect way. Drue Boles, Melinda Knutson, Julie Alfaro and Kim Miller all spoke from our class and their words were soulful and full of Love for the girl that touched so many people. Very soon we will have a tribute up for Jill, remembering all the good things she brought to our lives and the world in general. By accident, I came upon an article about Los Altos playing South Hills. South Hills won the championship last year? And what is with Div VII? I thought 5A was the top? My father found a class ring of Covina High School (class of '80) years ago. It's gold and has a horse on one side with a sign that reads colts. It also has the initials ingrave inside R F M. I would gladly return it.
